SE means Special Exempt, which means that since a person is playing in a tournament they couldn't play in the new tournament to qualify.

Read it myself: Special Entry. A player who reached at least semifinal the week before get the chance to enter the main draw without qualifying that would otherwise have been the case for the player. Hope I got it right.
