We never know, both are on a slump and have always been inconsistent, one day you see one of them beat like someone like Svitolina in straight sets then they go on to lose to world number 156. Both of them have it all, they just aren’t there mentally yet, and if not yet, maybe never.

Maddie has to play with nothing to lose in order to do well. She always comes up with her best results at big events off the back of slumps and then disappoints when she’s been playing well. She always needs an early challenge in the tournament to give her the confidence to win, I remember her last 2 titles she had really challenging matches at the beginning of the events. She also seems to have certain countries and events she plays best in.
