Isner just beat Bautista-Agut and Rublev, he made them commit so many mistakes.
Thiem did more than 20 against DeMinaur, I doubt he can manage the type of player he goes against tomorrow.
DeMinaur is like Thiem, he goes for the rallys, he try to build the point, they like exchanges and long run, Isner isn't that type of player at all. He will probably neutralized that aspect of the game, or at least making the job hard for Thiem to express his tennis.

Look at the "serve bot" up there by the net, hitting return winners and inside out forehands. Oh wait...that sounds more like a tennis player than a serve bot doesn't it 👀 I love matches like these where win or lose, big John puts in an all court game that even his biggest detractors can't deny.

This is gonna be tough for thiem. Months out of action then playing a big serve man in form. Will be tough to get rhythm, which is what thiem needs

I still wish Big Bad Johno the best of luck. Come on, bud.

Isner is playing much above than what everyone expected from him this week.

christinenelles88
At this point...it's about who will flinch first. Odds are it'll be Isner. 🤔

Yes Jeet a freedom that has him looking a decade younger & moving well .. A Welcomed sight 4 true John fans

Thiem trash this serve bot outta here please.

Experience gonna make the difference, and the lack of matches for Thiem can be a real issue, it gonna be mental way more than physical against the hand of Isner. The first shot (or second if he didn't served perfectly) is way more important with Isner than the guys Thiem played before, a simple mistake on tiebreaks and it's over.

It gonna be all about concentration. I'm so impatient about this game 🤯

🎾 Mr. Mensa 💜
Altitude & speed of court mean Domi is gonna have trouble with the aces/unreturnables flying by him.

If Domi stays away from TieBreaks, he'll be fine.

If not he'll probably go same way as RBA & Ruby
4/5 TieBreaks Won tells it's own story.

This Week Isner is brutal!

No one will be complaining about boring Isner after this one.
You would think he'd earned respect after 2 big upsets, seems he'll have to do it again.

Wow this is crazy

After seeing yesterday's match against Rublev, I have to say, I was surprised to see the betting odds here. If, and I don't, I was betting, I would have bet on Isner.

Are you sure they're not playing on Aranxta Sanchez?

I guess he could wake up from
Hypnosis any time now 😉

As I was saying below
John is Brutal on these courts.

But I guess I was wrong about
Domi being safe IF he stays
away from TieBreaks

John is taking no Prisoners
TODAY!!

🎾 Mr. Mensa 💜
Strange to see that it's mainly his breaking of serve & his actual play that's winning him this match.

His serve is normally a given.

You're right Christine

That's why I said below, no one will be talking about boring John today.
He would have to show more play to win.
Which he is

Well after all, John's a bit closer than a lot of people RISElordVader. 😉

Love Anicone's commentary. The best. Doesn't get hyper or stupid.

It's TT fault, wouldn't take post. 😉

christinenelles88
That happens when many are posting simultaneously.

christinenelles88
I hope it's going to a tiebreak. An Isner match without a tiebreak is unheard of!

RISElordVader
It drives me insane when I see ppl in the stands texting or posting... instead of Watching live tennis
