Dominic Thiem vs Lorenzo Sonego • Rome 2021

I swear I can’t watch a match with volume on when Sonego is playing. My parents are getting suspicious 😬😬

Rust off, Domi. Bring your best

Quality encounter by these two. Props to Sonego for continuing to battle, especially when Thiem served for the match. Will be a good matchup vs Ruby!

Sonego was horrible during doubles today, seen 2/third of it, it was a joke, and yesterday he wasn't good imo (Monfils was worse, he tried his best but he isn't that good ATM, at all)
If Thiem lose this I would be really surprised.

Put 0il on the grunt😁

He's the road runner but cannot see how fast

I believe I can fly

Looks like Play got suspended

The players leave the court til the stands and staduim is clear because of covid curfew then the players return

Were there 'crowds' to get out on that court?

Thiem is a different player when his dad is there in the crowd🔥

Thiem always makes it the hardest it can possibly be for himself 🤣

2 incredible backhands

Celebration Italian style!!!! 🕺💃🕺🕺💃🕺💃

Haha is his team drunk?

Congrats & well played Lorenzo 🇮🇹👏👏👌, what a giant killing.👍

I think Lorenzo played really well at the end rather Dom choking. Although Dom definitely got down on himself too early

Now Djokovic has an easy draw Lmaoo

Dominator 🦸‍♂️

,, eeek

Domi

Oh no here comes the grunting

Wonder if Thiem is going to get things going and make things exciting.

Good hold by thiem

Frying Thiem

I’m not normally that bothered by grunting but Sonego pushes it too far. He makes his grunt last when the opponent is hitting the ball and it is not consistent so can distract the opponent, shouldn’t be allowed.

Just irritating to watch in general

L0renzos The grunt😂
