I think Serena can definitely win this tournament

Well done. Brilliant attitude.

Wasn't straight forward on the clay last time between these two. Have to think Serena too good but maybe 3 sets???

Did someone say HALEP!!!!!!

I mentioned having the loss be the ultimate motivator for her because losses have been her biggest motivators in the past. Look at what happened when she lost in the first round of RG in 2012? She went on a tear for the next year and a half! I want to see that fire and desire yet again :)

Cincinnati was the last title she won. 1 win from her last 7 tournament's. Yes she's no 1 and still the favourite for every tournament but you can see more players have more belief now.

Hear, hear Jevar!! I'm with you also buddy.
Thanks for saying everything that was on my mind too. ☺☺

Not got the flu ? Well well.

I don't think anyone is shaking now she's back Justin. She hasn't won anything this year no need for anyone to be scared. Especially Azarenka.

goochy009
Im just saying if Serena had won everything like she did last year up till this point then yes maybe players would be scared. The fact she hasn't won a title for a long time the fear factor is disappearing. Players have more belief they can beat her.

And who's going to stop her from winning Rome ? Why you think she's not winning Rome ? If your reason is because she's not motivated since when you got into her head or into her camp to know this Mr. Huge Serena fan ?

Papasung...calm your tail down. Sheesh. Logic is being used here. Serena isn't match tough at the moment AND she's been ill. This is clay, and she hasn't had enough matches on the surface for me to feel great about her chances here in Rome. I'd love to see her win every tournament she enters, but we all know that's not going to happen. My prediction has ZERO to do with Serena's head, ZILCH to do with her camp. I (JEVAR) believe's she WON'T win this tournament, strictly based off of my aforementioned statements...but I don't care if she doesn't, honestly. I just want her to get enough matches under her belt here to prep her for RG. Who can stop her from winning the tournament? Anyone can play out of their mind and win, let's not be ignorant here, that's why they play these matches...NO ONE is penciled in as the winner from the beginning. But lack of preparation COULD DEFINITELY hinder her as well. Point, blank, period. Save your snooty comments for somebody else, my friend.

I hope so to Justin. Glad to hear she's getting back to form.

There was never anything wrong with her

Straight set for the almighty queen of tennis Serena. Simona azarenka and the rest of the fields are shaking in their boots right now cause Serena is back.

Serena's gonna drag but win. ☺

First of all, Justin, don't get so ahead of yourself. Second, slayer, at least what she's had previously only was the flue

vishruth.sgs
Oddly parallels rafas plight, players aren't scared and intimidated anymore.

Wait.. did someone? HALEP!! haha

I agree with Goochy 100%.. She might still be the best, but players now don't go on the court without hope to win anymore..

papasung2
Winning a tournament is not important right now it's all about the record so quit with the crap how she has not won since Cincinnati . Stop trying to pick at what's not there . After Cincinnati there was the us open and after that many others before the year finished she played none . This year aussie finals two masters 1000 and that's it . Three times !

Thank you Dawson :) Jevar don't waste your time with Papasung

Let's first wait couple matches to see how is her game now, if she has fully recovered.

When SW and Vika are fully fit, with Halep on the rise, and usualy good Aga and Angie, it should be interesting rest of the season.

I'm a huge Serena Williams fan. But I will tell you right now, SHE AIN'T WINNING ROME. I don't mind it though...I want this eventual loss to get her mind RIGHT AND FOCUSED on Roland Garros. I don't know in which round she will lose, but let this loss be THE ultimate motivator for her!

Goochy I pity you . Do you know bad mind ,envy, hate and all the nonsense are sins . This nonsense you cone with about players don't fear Serena Williams any more means nothing . So even if you are right you are acting as though it means they will beat her now
1
papasung2
Stop trying to find things that are not there . You are making up stuff in your head about fear . Any time Serena Williams roar the rest of the field will throw in the white flag, all the vika you all talking about she knows any time the queen run at her she has to look for holes
