Watching Serena was emotional I normally don't cry but I did at the final point. Well done Serena and it's a fantastic time to do it. Just made my day. Angelique Kerber is a great player and is great to watch. Well done on making such an exciting match.

The Queen reign!!! Revenge is sweet! The media, the BBC commentators were strongly hoping that Kerber would repeat her victory over SW in the AO. They were hoping that she would never get to 22 GS and equal SG. Today we saw a spirited SW and she was on a mission and not even Kerber, the BBC commentators nor the haters were going to stop her. A big congratulation SW for getting to 22 GS. I know that they are going to be talking about MC 24 GS now!! . Anyway you are on a roll, so the US open next!! SW you are a great champion!!!

Comparisons across eras are futile. You can't make an assumption that one player in this era would also be the best in times he/she never played.

There are far too many variables. Competition, for example, isn't anything like as strong as it was in Steffi's day.
