"Sinner is on fire": Venus Williams fascinated by the Italian
Venus Williams is literally fascinated by the world number two: Jannik Sinner.
The scene took place in Prague, during an event bringing together icons of world sport. When asked about Jannik Sinner, Venus Williams did not hesitate to praise the native of San Candido:
"Sinner is incredible and he will be for a long time. It's fascinating. Speaking of fire, Sinner is on fire," she confided, in words that speak volumes about the stature the Italian number 1 has taken on in the tennis world. But what Venus Williams also highlights is the excitement he has generated in Italy.
"People in Italy have gone crazy for tennis. They will have a lot of fun following his career," she states.
A strong declaration, therefore, coming from a champion who has seen exceptional talents come and go for over twenty years on the tour.
