'It's Been 4 Years Since I Played a Final'
Asked on court after her defeat, the 23-year-old player said this:
'I want to thank the crowd. You really made me feel at home this week. I'm sorry I couldn't give my best today.
Congratulations also to Sorana, you've had an amazing week and I think your tennis is truly incredible.
I don't know if this is your last tournament here in Cluj, but I know if it were me, I'd leave on a high note (laughs).
Honestly, it's been a long time since I've given a speech like this.
It's been about 4 or 5 years since I played a final. That means a lot to me. And I'm really happy it was here in Cluj.'
