"I haven't often felt that": Djokovic reflects on the 2025 Roland-Garros final
Novak Djokovic has looked back on the epic final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner at Roland-Garros this year.
Questioned by British journalist Piers Morgan, the Serb praised the duel between the two current tennis gems: Alcaraz and Sinner, in the final of the Parisian Grand Slam.
"At first, I started watching the match from a tactical point of view, but then, I entered a phase of admiration. I haven't often felt that while watching others play. There are only 4 or 5 matches in my life where I've said to myself: 'Wow, the level of play is incredible.'"
For the record, the Spaniard defeated the Italian (6-4, 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-7(3), 6-7(2)) after the longest final in the tournament's history: 5h29.
