Iga Swiatek and Poland lost their second consecutive United Cup final on Sunday.
During her match against Coco Gauff, which she lost 6-4, 6-4, the world No.2 took a medical time-out (MTO) even though she was not injured.

In a press conference after the final, she explained the reasons for the MTO: "I wasn't fresh today. Nothing in particular happened. I was just tired.
You know, the amount of matches, especially at the beginning of the tournament, was quite high, but, yes, everything's fine.
And I'm happy because I played against some big hitters this week and some tough players too.
I was able to play some excellent tennis in both situations. Today, I wasn't able to give 100%."
Not a great champion, but a sore loser and a cheater imho. ***on her titles.
Glad igo crybaby... got put in her place again.
I thought medical time outs were reserved for injury and illness.

I'd also be interested to see how many of these "tired" timeouts are taken when the player is ahead or momentum is shifting their way....:)
