Sorry to say, that I feared this would happen. Veckic has lots of experience and is always very composed. Raducanu still needing to learn how to be composed and make the right decisions. Tennis is a sport that is both physical and mental, no one really prevails, it is up to the player to judge what is right and at what moment. If plans are made and plan A doesn't work, you must have a plan b and even c. Only masters like Federer didn't need any plans.
Very poor first set. Left her to much to do. Would have thought she would have that side handled by now years and years into her career. Can't go walkabout for a set in finals.
Good win for vekic she seems to come alive on the grass the Wimbledon semi was not a fluke, hopefully she gets seeded for Wimbledon and has a decent tournament, now Emma finally getting it together even if its on home soil 🏡, great tournament for her although she didn't win its a big step in the right direction
