Sinner Dominates De Minaur Again and Reaches His 3rd Consecutive ATP Finals Final
Jannik Sinner imposed his law once again: after a tight first set, the Italian accelerated at the key moment to dominate Alex de Minaur and secure another Masters final.
The first semi-final of the Masters logically went in Jannik Sinner's favor.
The defending champion in Turin, the world No. 2, met his favorite victim again this Saturday: Alex de Minaur, whom he has already beaten twelve times without ever losing. This is even the third most lopsided head-to-head on the tour among active players.
Despite a close first set and the fine resistance of the Australian, Sinner made the difference in the money time by securing a break at 6-5. From the start of the second set, a double break quickly sealed the fate of the match (7-5, 6-2), propelling the Italian to a third consecutive ATP Finals final.
He thus improves his record to thirteen wins against De Minaur and now calmly awaits Carlos Alcaraz or Félix Auger-Aliassime in tomorrow's final.
Sinner, who is on a streak of 30 consecutive indoor wins, is the seventh player in history to reach three consecutive Masters finals.
