Video - Dimitrov's Gift for a Spectator in Antwerp in 2020

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, almost all ATP Tour tournaments were canceled due to the health situation. However, the ATP 250 tournament in Antwerp was kept on the schedule and attracted a good crowd in the Belgian city.
In the semifinals, Grigor Dimitrov faced Alex De Minaur. In a close match, it was ultimately the Australian who won in three sets (7-6, 6-7, 6-4 in 2 hours and 48 minutes).
In the first game of the third set, Dimitrov hit an ace to lead 40/0, but the ball then ended up directly hitting a spectator.
The Bulgarian apologized, and after the changeover in the following game, Dimitrov gave a wristband to the person he had unintentionally hit with his serve (see video below).
Ultimately, De Minaur won the match but lost in the final to Ugo Humbert (6-1, 7-6). The Frenchman took the opportunity to win the second title of his career on the ATP Tour at that time, after Auckland in 2020.
