After four defeats against Lorenzo Musetti, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard has finally reversed the trend: a great match, and a qualification for his 3rd semi-final of the season.

This Friday, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, 22, got his revenge by dominating world number 8 Lorenzo Musetti in the quarter-finals of the ATP 250 tournament in Brussels (6-4, 7-6). The Frenchman had been on a run of four consecutive defeats against the Italian, some of which were particularly frustrating: Stuttgart and Wimbledon 2024, US Open and Beijing 2025.

In the semi-finals, Mpetshi Perricard will face the Czech Jiri Lehecka, world number 17, an opponent he has only faced once: a defeat (6-4, 6-7, 7-6) at the Liberec Challenger (Czech Republic) in 2022.

Hello I'm new

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
