The Jackpot for Vacherot: Record Prize Money Even Before His Shanghai Final

From mere qualifier to Masters 1000 finalist, Valentin Vacherot has already earned $597,000. A victory against Rinderknech would push his total earnings to $1.1 million, marking a historic turning point in his career.

The tournament of a lifetime for Valentin Vacherot? The 26-year-old player, who came through qualifying in Shanghai, has swept aside all opponents since the start of the event, successively eliminating Djere, Bublik, Machac, Griekspoor, Rune, and then the legend Djokovic.

An almost unbelievable run that the Monegasque player intends to cap off in style against his cousin Arthur Rinderknech in the final.

Financially, it's also a huge boost for Vacherot. A professional since 2021, he had only accumulated $594,000 in prize money.

His qualification for the Shanghai Masters 1000 final will allow him to earn more than he had won so far, cashing a check for at least $597,000.

And if he wins tomorrow, the protégé of Benjamin Balleret will pocket the handsome sum of $1.1 million.
