Michael Chang: The Big 3 touched people's lives, but Sinner and Alcaraz can do the same

In an interview, Michael Chang praised the talent and maturity of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

The admiring former American champion sees them as the worthy heirs to Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic, capable, in his view, not only of making their mark on tennis history but also of touching people's hearts.

"Everyone experiences this position differently. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic, throughout their careers, in addition to winning, were able to touch the lives of the people they interacted with. Jannik and Carlos have everything it takes to follow in their footsteps and do great things for their sport and for the fans.

In the past, there were tennis players who only thought about the court, and who aren't talked about much anymore," he stated in an interview relayed by Tennis World Italia.

So Sinner and Alcaraz aren't just playing to win: they are playing to make a lasting impression.
