Rublev on playing conditions in Rotterdam: "It's like going back six or seven years on the circuit".

Andrey Rublev will play tomorrow for a place in the quarter-finals of the Rotterdam tournament against Fabian Maroszan.

In a press conference following his 1st round victory over Zhizhen Zheng yesterday, the Russian explained how comfortable he felt with the playing conditions set up by the tournament organizers:

"There are a lot of exchanges, because the balls are bigger. This is something that has become very unusual over the last two years. In many tournaments, there aren't many exchanges.

Here, it's like going back six or seven years: you can defend deeply and change the direction of the rally. I feel comfortable.

It creates more play, you try to think about what to do, how to open up the court to have an easier solution to attack."
