Mensik: "I want to know where I stand in relation to Alcaraz and Sinner".

Jakub Mensik has made an interesting start to the season, with a third-round win over Casper Ruud at the Australian Open.
Present at the ATP 500 in Rotterdam, the Czech talks about his objectives: "Last year, I played without pressure, but I'm not affected by much higher expectations now.
I see myself constantly improving in all aspects of my game, I enjoy playing the biggest tournaments and I'm gaining a lot of self-confidence.
I now know what to expect from my opponents and the events I take part in, so I can choose which tournaments I play in.
I know that my best weapon is my serve, and if I can play with a high percentage of first serves, it'll be hard to beat me.
The most important thing for me this year is to stay healthy, because in 2024 I had elbow problems that slowed down my progress.
I'd love to take on Sinner and Alcaraz, I want to know where my level stands in relation to theirs, even if my priority objective is to finish the year in the top 30 of the ATP rankings."
Mensik will play Alex de Minaur in the second round of Rotterdam.
