"The story is beautiful and not finished being written," Boisson's message after ending her season

Loïs Boisson, who ended her season in recent hours, posted a message on social media.
Boisson truly exploded at Roland-Garros this season.
Invited by the tournament organizers, the French player, who was ranked beyond the top 300 before the 2025 French Open, lived a true fairy tale by eliminating two top 10 players, Jessica Pegula and Mirra Andreeva, on her way to the semifinals, where the eventual champion, Coco Gauff, ended her impressive run.
The 22-year-old player, now world No. 37 (her career-best ranking), also claimed her first WTA tour title in Hamburg in July, before suffering several injuries that disrupted the second half of her season.
On her Instagram account, Boisson, who had suffered a serious knee injury just before Roland-Garros last year, reflected on her year through a message to her followers, in which she thanked her family and team.
As a reminder, the Dijon native, who was expected to compete in the WTA 250 tournament in Chennai at the end of October, chose to end her season to recharge her batteries for next year.
"What a season! So grateful to have experienced all these emotions. If someone had told me a year ago, after that very difficult year when I thought I wouldn't be able to play high-level tennis anymore, that I would be where I am today, I wouldn't have believed it. So the conclusion is: believe in yourself.
The story is beautiful and really not finished being written, it continues. Thank you to my entire team and my family, my sponsors, and thank you all for your support. I love you," Boisson wrote on her Instagram account.
