Beaten by Carlos Alcaraz yesterday in Rotterdam, Botic Van de Zandschulp held his own against the Spaniard before cracking in a two-and-a-half-hour battle.
Speaking at the press conference, the Dutchman said he was impressed by the world No. 3's forehand:
"I think Alcaraz probably has the best forehand on the circuit.
I don't think I should blame myself if I lose a cross-court forehand exchange to him.
He's been very clever at winning these types of exchanges."
