At 31, Jessica Pegula continues to boost her statistics. Her qualification for the 2025 WTA Finals is not just a sporting achievement; it also illustrates her remarkable consistency since 2022.
Indeed, she has become the oldest player since Nathalie Tauziat (1997-2001) to compete in the prestigious year-end tournament for four consecutive years. Even better, she is the oldest American to accomplish this feat since Martina Navratilova (1991-1994).
"I've never been stronger mentally. I've learned to love the pressure moments," she recently shared.
For the record, in her last three tournaments played, Pegula reached at least the semifinals. Before that, she won titles in Austin, Charleston, and Bad Homburg.
