It's Only the Beginning, Fonseca Reviews His 2025 Season

Joao Fonseca has announced his withdrawal from the Athens tournament, thus concluding his 2025 season.

After starting the year ranked 145th in the world, the Brazilian will finish it around 28th place, a clear progression thanks in particular to two titles won on the ATP Tour, one at the ATP 250 in Buenos Aires and the other more recently at the ATP 500 in Basel.

On his Instagram account, Fonseca stated: "I am ending the season very proud of the work accomplished by my team and myself.

I am very grateful for everything that happened this year, which was rich in experiences and lessons that I will use in the next stages of my career.

Thank you to my team for their commitment, to my family and my sponsors for their support, as well as to everyone who encouraged me. It's only the beginning.
