I don't give myself much of a chance to still be playing at his age," says Ruud about Wawrinka

I don't give myself much of a chance to still be playing at his age, says Ruud about Wawrinka

Casper Ruud qualified for the quarter-finals of the Basel tournament by beating Stan Wawrinka.

The Norwegian was asked about his opponent's incredible longevity and whether he could see himself playing until that age: "Interesting question. I wouldn't give myself much of a chance, but watching Stan play was incredible.

I lost to him about three years ago, and he was already 37 back then. I wouldn't say I was lost, but I was young, I should have made him run and fight!

He's playing at such a level at 40 years old! It's incredible. He said he wants to continue. I wish him good luck. It was a tough match today. It will be fun to see him again next year.
