Badosa in favor of a lighter schedule: "Obviously, I'd like to play less".

Badosa in favor of a lighter schedule: Obviously, I'd like to play less.

Guest on the latest episode of Caroline Garcia's Tennis Insider Club podcast, Paula Badosa gave her opinion on the WTA Tour calendar.

Like other players, the world No. 10 would be in favour of a shorter season: "I think we all talk about it. Every time, for me, the season starts earlier and ends later.

And of course, I'm having a lot of conversations with the WTA, to see how we can change that.

But honestly, I don't have a solution, because there are so many tournaments, there are so many things behind that we're not aware of.

If I have to say it, obviously, I'd like to play less. To play less and maybe have bigger tournaments and better quality matches, for the players to be in shape. I'd like that, but I don't have a solution."
