Thanks to Djokovic's title in Athens, Auger-Aliassime secures his ticket to the ATP Finals
The final ticket for Turin has been claimed after a completely crazy finish. Thanks to Djokovic's victory in the Athens final, Félix Auger-Aliassime narrowly clinches his first-ever qualification for the ATP Finals.
The lineup for the 2025 ATP Finals is finally complete. Félix Auger-Aliassime, ranked 8th in the Race at the start of this week, will indeed be the final player to qualify for Turin.
However, the Canadian had to endure a rollercoaster of emotions this Saturday, following the epic final contested between Lorenzo Musetti and Novak Djokovic.
Musetti was one set away from overtaking Auger-Aliassime, but he ultimately fell short, missing out on a first-ever qualification for the Masters tournament by just 5 points.
Auger-Aliassime, winner of three titles this season (Adelaide, Montpellier, and Brussels), finished the season strongly with a semifinal at the US Open, a quarterfinal in Shanghai, and a final in Paris. He will compete in the ATP Finals for the first time in his career, eight years after his debut on the professional tour.
