Raducanu part ways with coach Nick Cavaday

Emma Raducanu and Nick Cavaday are over. After a year's collaboration, marked by the British player's return to the top 60, Raducanu is now looking for a new coach.

The 38-year-old coach will be stepping down from his duties alongside the 2021 US Open winner for health reasons.

"I'd like to thank Nick for the fruitful association we've enjoyed over the past year, particularly after my return following my operations.

I wish him all the best for his next chapter and I'm sure we'll keep in touch," said Raducanu, 22, for the BBC.

"I'm very happy to have been able to work with Emma over the last 14 months. Right now, it's important for me to spend time at home and make my health a priority.

It's not easy when you have a busy schedule. I'm delighted that Emma has been able to make a lasting return to the circuit and is back in the top 60.

I can't wait to see what the next few months have in store for her," said Cavaday.
