"At the end of the season, every week counts," says Sinner

Jannik Sinner is in Vienna where he made a brilliant start. Even though it will be complicated for him to reclaim the world number 1 spot from Carlos Alcaraz in the short term, the Italian is fully present and wants to string together matches.
In comments relayed by Ubitennis, he states: "Vienna is a magnificent city and I truly enjoy this tournament. My family is here with me and friends will arrive soon.
Indoor tournaments are always a special time for me. I have very good memories of them: five years ago, I received a wild card and two years ago, I was playing at a very high level here.
This tournament is important for me. At the end of the season, every week counts; the points help me for next year. After Vienna, there's Paris and then the ATP Finals.
So I am happy to be here. There are three tournaments left; it's time to deliver the final blow."
Sinner will face Flavio Cobolli this Thursday.
