A difficult but incredibly rewarding year," Sabalenka sums up her 2025 season
Aryna Sabalenka concluded her 2025 season with a defeat in the WTA Finals final against Elena Rybakina. The Belarusian finishes the year as the World No. 1 and with a Grand Slam title, the US Open.
On her Instagram account, she posted a message summarizing her season: "And that's it, the 2025 season is over! This year has been difficult, but incredibly rewarding. One Grand Slam title, the world number one spot for the second consecutive year and a few trophies...
I couldn't have done it without Team Tiger, those people who are always by my side. I learned so much this year, through the highs and lows of every tournament and the training sessions in between. I am more than lucky and grateful for all of this. 2026 season, I am ready!
