A Dimitrov/Mahut doubles pair in Paris for the Frenchman's final tournament
Nicolas Mahut will bid farewell to professional tennis alongside Grigor Dimitrov in the doubles at the Paris tournament.
He had already announced it several months ago, but this 2025 Paris tournament will have a special flavor for Mahut. The Frenchman, now 43 years old, will play the very last tournament of his professional career in doubles in Paris next week. The doubles draw has been made, and Mahut will play the tournament with Grigor Dimitrov.
The Bulgarian, absent from the tour since July 7th and his withdrawal in the round of 16 at Wimbledon against Jannik Sinner, has decided to enjoy himself for the last tournament of the year and will share the final moments of Mahut's career by his side.
In the first round, the Dimitrov/Mahut pair will face the pair composed of Hugo Nys and Édouard Roger-Vasselin. The five-time Grand Slam doubles champion with Pierre-Hugues Herbert has already shared the court with Dimitrov on the occasion of two tournaments, in Rotterdam and Washington in 2023.
