In early December, two WTA 125 tournaments will be held in France. From December 1st to 7th, the registered players will meet in Angers, before a second event taking place from December 8th to 14th in Limoges. After the city in Maine-et-Loire, it is now the turn of the prefecture of Haute-Vienne to unveil the lineup for its 2025 edition, one year after Viktorija Golubic's victory against her compatriot Céline Naef.

Thus, several players who were already present in Angers the previous week will continue in Limousin. Barbora Krejcikova, Elsa Jacquemot, Tiantsoa Rakotomanga Rajaonah, Alycia Parks, and Océane Dodin are registered for Limoges. Sonay Kartal, Cristina Bucsa (champion in 2023) and Anhelina Kalinina (winner of this tournament in 2022 but who has not played since June, even dropping out of the top 100) are also joining the participant lineup.

Among the other players expected in early December in Limoges, we find Zhang Shuai, Polina Kudermetova, Julia Grabher, Rebeka Masarova, Tamara Korpatsch, Antonia Ruzic, and also Katarzyna Kawa. The stakes will be high for the French players, as no Frenchwoman has won this tournament since Caroline Garcia ten years ago, in 2015, against Louisa Chirico.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
