A Year Rich in Memorable Events and Painful Defeats," Anisimova Reflects on Her 2025 Season
On her Instagram account, Amanda Anisimova looked back on her 2025 year, where she finished as the World No. 4. This year was marked by titles in Doha and Beijing and two Grand Slam finals: at the US Open and Wimbledon.
She states: "It was a year rich in memorable events, in painful defeats, in difficult moments, in new cities, in lessons learned, in moving memories and in meetings with extraordinary people, not to mention everything that happened in between.
That said, my 2025 year would not have been the same, nor as special, without the incredible people who are part of my life. My family, my one-of-a-kind team, my support network/my best friends, my fans, my sponsors, and all those I love dearly and without whom I couldn't imagine living this chaotic life.
I felt an authentic joy throughout this year, whether at home or on the road. And for me, that is my greatest victory of 2025. I look forward to starting again next year.
