Absent in Toronto, Sinner's Schedule Before the US Open Revealed
Coming off his Wimbledon title, Sinner has decided to take a little rest to be as fresh as possible for the US Open. As a result, he has withdrawn from the Canadian Masters 1000 scheduled for July 26 to August 7. The 2023 winner, the Italian will not attempt to claim a second title in Ontario's capital (Toronto).
While his absence has been confirmed, many fans are wondering about the world number one's schedule before the last Major of the year. But according to Sky Sport, the player will resume training in Monte-Carlo this Thursday and will stay there until his departure for Cincinnati. Before that, he underwent medical examinations in Turin to ensure he is in perfect health to tackle the hard court season.
As the defending champion at Flushing Meadows, Sinner will be playing for a fifth Grand Slam title, his third of the season.
