Casper Ruud ended his season eliminated in the Masters semi-finals by Jannik Sinner, a somewhat misleading result given his level of play since September.

After a poor end to the year (6 defeats in 7 matches before the Masters), Ruud saw one of his team members leave him last week.

The player's website has announced that Marcel Da Cruz, the Norwegian's fitness trainer since 2011, has decided to end his collaboration with the two-time French Open finalist.

The article mentions that Da Cruz "has decided to take on new challenges, but does not rule out a new collaboration with Ruud's team in the future".

An important change for Casper Ruud, who will have to hire a new fitness trainer for next season.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
