After the French Open, the "Tribune Bleue" also has its say on the outbursts: "Certain irresponsible individuals have no business on a tennis court".

After the French Open, the Tribune Bleue also has its say on the outbursts: Certain irresponsible individuals have no business on a tennis court.

To calm the controversy generated by the Goffin/Mpetshi Perricard match, but also by the few reactions from players (Swiatek topping the list), the Tribune Bleue has spoken out. This new "ultras" collective was keen to calm things down, reminding spectators of their duties.

Indeed, the supporters' collective, known for traveling the world to cheer on the French players in as many tournaments as possible, couldn't sit idly by. Being in the limelight, since they have attracted a large number of fans to supporterism, the collective had to take a stand. In a rather lengthy message, they assured us that they were not involved in the events that took place during Tuesday's match, while condemning the actions perpetrated: "We wish to speak out regarding the events that took place during Goffin's match. We are shocked by the behavior of certain spectators, which we disapprove of. Yesterday's outbursts (Tuesday) did not come from the Blue Tribune. We constantly remind newcomers of the rules to respect. Certain irresponsible individuals have no business on a tennis court. [...] We hope this message will help change the behavior of a few irresponsible individuals."
