After the Vacherot-Rinderknech cousins, time for a brotherly duel in Stockholm
The Stockholm tournament is about to witness a rare moment: brothers Elias and Mikael Ymer will face each other for the first time in an official match on the main tour.
Although they have shared dozens and dozens of hours on practice courts since childhood, the two brothers had never met in official competition.
The younger of the two brothers, Mikael Ymer (27 years old), will therefore face his older brother Elias Ymer (29 years old) in the first round of the ATP 250 in Stockholm. While the former is ranked 617th in the ATP, the latter, meanwhile, is ranked 243rd in the world.
This match therefore fits into a strange series on the ATP tour. Just yesterday, in Shanghai, Arthur Rinderknech faced his cousin Valentin Vacherot in the final of the Chinese Masters 1000.
