Agassi, McEnroe, Roddick, Del Potro, and Venus Williams: A Five-Star Exhibition Confirmed Before the Start of the US Open
The US Open will take place this year from August 24 to September 7. However, the final Grand Slam of the season will be in the spotlight even before the main draw begins, thanks to the qualifying rounds and the new mixed doubles competition (August 19-20).
In addition to this gathering of current tour stars, an exhibition match will be held on Thursday, August 21. It will bring together former legends of the game, such as Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, Juan Martin Del Potro, and Venus Williams. Among active players, only Coco Gauff and Joao Fonseca will participate.
A portion of the ticket sales revenue will be donated to the USTA Foundation, which helps underprivileged youth achieve their dreams through a program based on education and tennis.
