Alcaraz Clearly Dominates the List of Highest-Paid Players in 2025
For more than a decade, prize money in tennis has increased significantly, not only for the world’s top players but also for others. A clear example is the staggering amount the US Open will pay for its 2025 edition ($90 million in prize money alone).
While these amounts already seem very high, they actually represent only a small portion of what athletes, or at least the stars, earn in a season. Indeed, sponsors contribute the majority of their personal wealth.
To give an idea, the Spaniard Alcaraz receives $35 million from advertising deals alone. As for his rival, Sinner, he earns slightly less, with $27 million. Next, rounding out the podium is the American Gauff with $25 million, alongside the Serbian legend Djokovic.
