Alcaraz Defeats Rinderknech to Reach Queen's Semifinals

Carlos Alcaraz continues his run at the Queen's tournament, securing his quarterfinal victory this Friday against lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech.

After his grueling 3-hour, 22-minute battle against Jaume Munar yesterday, the Roland-Garros champion didn’t need to dig deep into his reserves this time. He made the difference with a break in each set, winning 7-5, 6-4 in just 1 hour and 20 minutes.

He delivered a clean performance with 24 winners, 14 unforced errors, 8 aces, and an 89% first-serve points won rate.

For his second career semifinal at Queen’s—after 2023—Alcaraz will face the winner of the match between Holger Rune and Roberto Bautista-Agut.
