Alcaraz responds to Sinner on the Six Kings Slam: If I say I went there to have fun, that would be a lie

Following yesterday's interview with Jannik Sinner, who said he didn't take part in the Six Kings Slam for the money, Carlos Alcaraz was also asked about the subject.

Ahead of his Paris debut, the Spaniard, present at the press conference, gave a different answer to Sinner's: "If I say I went there just to have fun or play without thinking about money, that would be a lie. Everyone works for it. That's how life works.

Most of the time, I don't think about the prize-money. But you have to be realistic. You have to think about earning money too.

There was the highest prize-money in history, so that was a good source of motivation, at least for me."

It was an obscene amount of money. I could have bought 12 very nice apartments with that money here in the Med
