Carlos Alcaraz ends this 2025 season as the world number one. Besides his great rival Jannik Sinner, the Spaniard mentioned two players who impress him and whom he sees as a threat for the next season.
In comments relayed by Tennis Gazette, he stated: "For example, Félix Auger-Aliassime is playing well, or at least finished the season at an excellent level. Zverev always comes back very strong on all fronts.

I think he has understood what he needs to do next season. There are also a few other players who always represent a significant threat, and we need to keep a very close eye on them. I think we have a very interesting year ahead of us."
