Alcaraz wins the ATP Sportsmanship Award for the second time in his career
This Tuesday, Carlos Alcaraz was named the winner of the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award for 2025. He had already won this award in 2023, before being surpassed by Grigor Dimitrov in 2024.
The other nominees were Felix Auger-Aliassime as well as former winners Casper Ruud and Dimitrov.
A new voting system
On its website, the ATP explained how the voting was organized: "The nominees for the sportsmanship award were selected by a vote from the International Tennis Writers Association (ITWA), and for the first time, the winner was chosen by members of the exclusive ATP No. 1 Club – the 29 current and former players who have reached the world number one ranking."
