"Apart from Alcaraz, They Are All Afraid of Sinner": Fabio Colangelo's Analysis on the Domination of the Italian Prodigy

The Italian coach reveals why Sinner today exudes a nearly invincible aura — and the only young player who could break the Sinner–Alcaraz duopoly.

In an interview with Spazio Tennis, Fabio Colangelo, former coach of Lorenzo Sonego, stated: "Apart from Alcaraz, they are all afraid of Sinner."

The Invisible Transformation That Changes Everything

Indeed, the 44-year-old highlighted the work of the Italian prodigy who managed to erase the few flaws that remained:

"Jannik does everything very well... He has no weaknesses. Those he had, he corrected them. Mentally, he no longer experiences drops. He hits with an incredibly relaxed arm.

And over three or five sets, he now knows how to conserve maximum energy. Which is a colossal advantage."

Alcaraz, the Only One Immune... For How Long?

And Colangelo insists: only Carlos Alcaraz seems capable of looking Sinner straight in the eyes without feeling that mental weight.

An observation that reinforces the idea that world tennis may be witnessing the beginning of a generational rivalry, a duo comparable to the myths Federer–Nadal or Djokovic–Murray.

An observation that leads to the following question: who can break the circle and come join the party?

The Third Man: Three Names, a Surprise Favorite

Finally, when asked about the player capable of inserting himself between the two giants, Colangelo mentions three names: Jack Draper, João Fonseca, Jakub Mensik.

However, only one player truly finds favor in his eyes: "If I had to give a name, the one who can really try to disturb the two monsters... it's Draper."

Thus, the Briton, long held back by injuries, according to Colangelo possesses the technical palette closest to the Sinner–Alcaraz duo.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
