In Riyadh, around 10:40 PM, the world number 1 entered the press room smiling, humorously stating: "Can we make it quick? I want to go to the Maldives."
An amusing phrase that made the journalists present laugh. After that, she continued more seriously, highlighting her opponent of the day:
"She played incredibly. As for me, I gave it my all, and I am proud of what we have accomplished. So I am leaving this tournament without any disappointment. I am going to relax in the Maldives, probably with a glass of tequila, think about all this, and analyze my emotions. I just need to improve a bit more. Next year will be better."
