ATP always promises to fix things, but nothing changes," Davidovich Fokina's anger over Toronto scheduling

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the unfortunate finalist in Washington, qualified yesterday for the third round of the Toronto Masters 1000 by defeating Corentin Moutet.
His match against Jakub Mensik is scheduled tomorrow in the first rotation on the Grandstand, starting at 11 a.m. local time, which is 5 p.m. in France. It is the only match starting at this time, as the other court matches will begin at 12:30 p.m.
A scheduling choice that has irritated Davidovich Fokina, who posted a lengthy message on his social media to criticize the ATP:
"Today, I want to share my disappointment and frustration with the ATP. Tomorrow, all matches start at 12:30 p.m., except ours, scheduled at 11 a.m. We are an hour away from the site, which means we have to wake up very early to arrive in good condition.
We asked for a change, but they told us that all tickets and TV rights had already been sold. Once again, it’s clear that players are not being considered.
Today it happened to other players, tomorrow it’s my turn. In the following days, all matches return to the 12:30 p.m. schedule. There are many courts available, but we are the only ones playing at 11 a.m.
The ATP always promises they will fix things, but nothing ever changes. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, and when you’re on the inside, you realize it’s not as great as it seems from the outside.
