ATP and WTA tour stars in Russia for an exhibition

Gazprom, Russia's largest gas producer, will be staging a team exhibition tournament in December. This is the third edition of the event, created since Russian tournaments were banned from the ATP and WTA circuits following the war in Ukraine.

Last year, the organization of this exhibition caused a stir after the participation of Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.

This year, the only Frenchman present will be Mansour Bahrami, invited alongside other former tennis stars: Elena Vesnina, Anastasia Myskina and Nikolay Davydenko.

Active players include Karen Khachanov, Alexander Bublik and Roberto Bautista Agut. On the ladies' side, Diana Shnaider, Anastasia Potapova, Viktoriya Tomova and Yulia Putintseva will be present.

Both teams will be captained by Mikhail Youzhny and Janko Tipsarevic.
