ATP Rankings: Alcaraz Regains His Spot as World No. 1, Djokovic Moves to 4th

The US Open, the final Grand Slam of the season, has now concluded. This tournament had several impacts on the ATP rankings.
Defeated in the final, Jannik Sinner loses his position as world No. 1 to Carlos Alcaraz. He had remained at the top for 65 weeks. The Italian now holds a 4,850-point lead over third-ranked Alexander Zverev.
A semifinalist at Flushing Meadows, Novak Djokovic climbs 3 spots and is now ranked 4th, overtaking Taylor Fritz, who drops one place.
Another semifinalist, Felix Auger-Aliassime, makes a significant leap in the rankings, jumping 14 places to reach 13th.
Arthur Rinderknech, who reached the round of 16, gains 25 spots and is now ranked 57th.
Defeated in the third round by Jan-Lennard Struff, Frances Tiafoe drops 12 places and is now ranked 29th. The American was a semifinalist at last year's US Open and therefore loses 700 points.
Meanwhile, the German Struff re-enters the Top 100 by climbing 46 places.
