ATP Rankings: Ruud Returns to the Top 10, Draper Gains a Spot
The Madrid Masters 1000 concluded this Sunday, bringing some changes to the ATP rankings.
Winner Casper Ruud makes his return to the Top 10, climbing to 7th place. Thanks to his finals appearance, Jack Draper gains one spot and reaches a new career-high ranking of 5th.
Lorenzo Musetti enters the Top 10 for the first time after his semifinal run, now sitting at 9th. Gabriel Diallo makes a massive leap of 24 places following his surprising quarterfinal performance, landing at 54th in the world.
On the losing side, Andrey Rublev, the defending Madrid champion, was eliminated in the third round and drops 9 spots, falling out of the Top 10.
Last year’s semifinalist, Jiri Lehecka, suffered an early upset against Cameron Norrie and drops 11 places, now ranked 38th in the world.
In the Race rankings, Carlos Alcaraz remains the leader, followed by Draper, who gained two spots. Alexander Zverev rounds out the podium, ahead of Jannik Sinner and his 2000 points from the Australian Open.
