The Brazilian prodigy João Fonseca, only 19 years old, eliminated Jaume Munar to secure the biggest final of his career.

João Fonseca continues to impress the tennis world. At 19, the young Brazilian has just reached a historic milestone by making the final of the ATP 500 tournament in Basel. His victory over Jaume Munar (7-6(4), 7-5) marks his 27th win of the 2025 season, confirming his incredible potential and meteoric rise.

By becoming the 4th youngest player in history to reach an ATP 500 final, Fonseca is following in the footsteps of the greatest young talents in world tennis. But that's not all, as he has also become the first player from his country to reach an ATP 500 level final.

After his first title in Buenos Aires in February, the Brazilian is already dreaming of another triumph on the tour. On Sunday, Fonseca will face the winner of the duel between Humbert and Davidovich Fokina in the final.

Hello I'm new

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
