Becker: "He could be president
Novak Djokovic will be one of the players to watch at the Paris Olympics.
In his quest for a first career gold medal, the Serb is making no secret of his motivation and interest in the tournament.
On this subject, his former coach, Boris Becker, recently spoke out to try and explain what Djokovic represented in Serbia: "I don't know if you understand the importance of Novak Djokovic in Serbia.
He could be president or whatever he wants. He's a real icon in Serbia, so it's natural for him to want to represent Serbia on the international stage.
And there's no better place to do it than at the Olympic Games. I was lucky enough to be the head coach of the Serbian team in 2016 in Rio.
I worked with all the Serbian players, stayed in the village with the Serbs and, by then, he was already a superstar."
