Berrettini on Sinner: "The pressure's off".
Italy had a scare in the Davis Cup quarter-finals. Faced with Argentina, the defending champions first faltered when Musetti lost to Etcheverry, before finally relying on Jannik Sinner in singles and doubles (alongside a very good Matteo Berrettini).
While he has been preferred to Lorenzo Musetti to play the first singles of the semi-final against Australia this Saturday, not before 1pm, Berrettini spoke at the press conference about his nation's qualification for the decisive doubles. Full of praise for the world number 1, he declared: "When you play alongside Sinner, the pressure eases a little. You know he's going to play incredibly well."
